<p>Constructed from high-grade close-grained cast iron or heavy fabricated steel plate, the frame is normalized to resist throat deflection under heavy stamping impacts. The forged alloy steel crankshaft rotates in precision phosphor-bronze bush bearings, driven by a heavy dynamically balanced flywheel. Equipped with a positive rolling-key mechanical clutch or pneumatic friction clutch-brake, the press delivers sharp, high-speed strokes up to 60 to 120 SPM.</p>
