National Cutting Tools builds vertical and universal milling machines for producing the jigs, fixtures, die blocks and weld locators that a scaffold or rebar plant depends on at its works in Ludhiana, Punjab, and ships them to Muscat, Sohar, Salalah, Duqm and Nizwa through Port of Sohar. The machines produce weld fixtures, rosette locating plates, die blocks and machined guides, and are built to the geometry and tolerances called up by IS 2368 and DIN 8615 accuracy classes. Every consignment for Oman is built for 415V 50 Hz with thermal overload relays sized for extended duty, since Omani fabricators often run single-shift machines into double shifts during turnaround season.

Shipping & crating
A geared vertical mill ships as a single crate with the head locked; the knee and table are greased and strapped for the sea leg. Sohar is the closest GCC discharge port to Mundra at 4 to 7 days, with the Port of Salalah as the alternative for southern Oman, discharging at Port of Sohar (OMSOH). Machines are crated to ISPM-15 heat-treated standard with desiccant and a vapour barrier, and the packing list, commercial invoice and chamber-attested Certificate of Origin travel with the consignment.
Standards & import documentation
Machines in this class normally clear customs under HS heading 8459.61. Spindle runout and table squareness are checked against the test chart supplied with the machine. Import clearance in Oman runs on Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MOCIIP) import requirements and Omani standards, with chamber-legalised documentation.
