Shipping & crating
A single-head threader moves as one crate; a multi-spindle line is shipped with the die heads removed and re-fitted during commissioning to protect the chasers. Sohar is the closest GCC discharge port to Mundra at 4 to 7 days, with the Port of Salalah as the alternative for southern Oman, discharging at Port of Sohar (OMSOH). Machines are crated to ISPM-15 heat-treated standard with desiccant and a vapour barrier, and the packing list, commercial invoice and chamber-attested Certificate of Origin travel with the consignment.
