Grinding Machines for United Arab Emirates (UAE)
National Cutting Tools builds surface, cylindrical and tool grinding machines used to maintain the dies, rolls and chasers that the production lines consume at its works in Ludhiana, Punjab, and ships them to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah through Jebel Ali Port, Dubai. The machines produce reground thread rolls, press dies, chaser sets and precision fixture surfaces, and are built to the geometry and tolerances called up by IS 2368 accuracy classes. Every consignment for UAE is wound for the 50 Hz Emirates grid and specified for desert ambient temperatures up to 52 C.
Where the demand comes from
A UAE plant running thread rolling or pressing lines has to regrind its own dies and rolls, because sending tooling abroad for regrinding costs more in downtime than the grinder does. That in-house maintenance case is what sells this class into the Emirates.

Shipping & crating
Grinders are shipped with the table locked and the hydraulic reservoir drained; the coolant and magnetic chuck controls crate separately. Sailings from Mundra and Nhava Sheva reach Jebel Ali in 4 to 7 days, discharging at Jebel Ali Port, Dubai (AEJEA). Machines are crated to ISPM-15 heat-treated standard with desiccant and a vapour barrier, and the packing list, commercial invoice and chamber-attested Certificate of Origin travel with the consignment.
Standards & import documentation
Machines in this class normally clear customs under HS heading 8460.19. Acceptance is a surface finish and parallelism test on a ground sample, taken after the machine has been levelled and the wheel dressed. Import clearance in the United Arab Emirates runs on ESMA / ECAS registration, with Emirates Quality Mark documentation where the buyer specifies it. The works issues the manufacturer test certificate, electrical schematic and material test report with every machine, so the buyer's submittal pack is complete on arrival rather than assembled afterwards.
| Conformity | ESMA / ECAS product registration; Emirates Quality Mark where the buyer requires it. Test certificates and electrical schematics supplied with every machine. |
| Tariff headings | Typical headings: 8515.31 (arc/MIG welding machines), 8459.70 (threading and tapping machines), 8462.29 (bending and forming presses), 8479.89 (special purpose machines). |

Spares & after-sales support
Wear parts for this class are grinding wheels, wheel flanges, hydraulic seals and the magnetic chuck controller. Fine airborne sand and 45-52 C summer shade temperatures are the two failure drivers in the Gulf. Motors and control panels are specified for that environment before the machine leaves Ludhiana. Spare-part orders are quoted against the machine serial number.
