Rebar Machine for United Arab Emirates (UAE)
National Cutting Tools builds rebar thread rolling, upsetting and cold forging equipment that prepares bar ends for mechanical splice couplers instead of lapping at its works in Ludhiana, Punjab, and ships them to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah through Jebel Ali Port, Dubai. The machines produce parallel-thread and taper-thread bar ends from 12 mm to 40 mm, and are built to the geometry and tolerances called up by BS 4449, ASTM A615 and A706 for the bar, and ISO 15835 for the coupler system. Every consignment for UAE is wound for the 50 Hz Emirates grid and specified for desert ambient temperatures up to 52 C.
Where the demand comes from
Etihad Rail civils and the Abu Dhabi and Dubai tower programmes both specify mechanical splices over lapping in congested cages, which is what pulls rebar threading equipment into UAE fabrication yards. Cage prefabrication yards in Al Quoz and Mussafah are the typical buyers.

Shipping & crating
Threading and upsetting machines are compact enough for LCL, but the hydraulic power pack and cooling tank are usually crated separately to keep the gross weight per package inside the buyer's forklift rating. Sailings from Mundra and Nhava Sheva reach Jebel Ali in 4 to 7 days, discharging at Jebel Ali Port, Dubai (AEJEA). Machines are crated to ISPM-15 heat-treated standard with desiccant and a vapour barrier, and the packing list, commercial invoice and chamber-attested Certificate of Origin travel with the consignment.
Standards & import documentation
Machines in this class normally clear customs under HS heading 8459.70. Coupler pull-out testing against the specified bar grade is the acceptance criterion, so a sample thread set is rolled and tested before dispatch. Import clearance in the United Arab Emirates runs on ESMA / ECAS registration, with Emirates Quality Mark documentation where the buyer specifies it. The works issues the manufacturer test certificate, electrical schematic and material test report with every machine, so the buyer's submittal pack is complete on arrival rather than assembled afterwards.
| Conformity | ESMA / ECAS product registration; Emirates Quality Mark where the buyer requires it. Test certificates and electrical schematics supplied with every machine. |
| Tariff headings | Typical headings: 8515.31 (arc/MIG welding machines), 8459.70 (threading and tapping machines), 8462.29 (bending and forming presses), 8479.89 (special purpose machines). |

Spares & after-sales support
Wear parts for this class are thread rolling dies, chaser sets, hydraulic seals and the bar clamping jaws. Fine airborne sand and 45-52 C summer shade temperatures are the two failure drivers in the Gulf. Motors and control panels are specified for that environment before the machine leaves Ludhiana. Spare-part orders are quoted against the machine serial number.
