Grinding Machines for Malaysia
National Cutting Tools builds surface, cylindrical and tool grinding machines used to maintain the dies, rolls and chasers that the production lines consume at its works in Ludhiana, Punjab, and ships them to Kuala Lumpur, Klang, Shah Alam, Johor Bahru, Pasir Gudang and Penang through Port Klang. The machines produce reground thread rolls, press dies, chaser sets and precision fixture surfaces, and are built to the geometry and tolerances called up by IS 2368 accuracy classes. Every consignment for Malaysia is supplied with tropicalised motor insulation rated for high ambient humidity, which attacks electrical windings long before it affects the mechanics.
Where the demand comes from
Die and roll regrinding inside Malaysia avoids a long freight loop for tooling maintenance. Grinders on this rotation are specified with humidity-rated electrics.
Delivered to: Kuala Lumpur, Klang, Shah Alam, Johor Bahru, Pasir Gudang, Penang, Ipoh, Kuching

Shipping & crating
Grinders are shipped with the table locked and the hydraulic reservoir drained; the coolant and magnetic chuck controls crate separately. Port Klang and Penang Port are served from Nhava Sheva and Mundra in 8 to 12 days, discharging at Port Klang (MYPKG). Machines are crated to ISPM-15 heat-treated standard with desiccant and a vapour barrier, and the packing list, commercial invoice and chamber-attested Certificate of Origin travel with the consignment.
Standards & import documentation
Machines in this class normally clear customs under HS heading 8460.19. Acceptance is a surface finish and parallelism test on a ground sample, taken after the machine has been levelled and the wheel dressed. Import clearance in Malaysia runs on SIRIM QAS inspection where the buyer specifies it, Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) electrical requirements, and AIFTA Form AI where the consignment qualifies for preferential duty. The works issues the manufacturer test certificate, electrical schematic and material test report with every machine, so the buyer's submittal pack is complete on arrival rather than assembled afterwards.
| Conformity | SIRIM QAS inspection where the buyer specifies it, and Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) electrical requirements; AIFTA Form AI issued where the consignment qualifies for preferential duty. |
| Tariff headings | Typical headings: 8515.31 (arc/MIG welding machines), 8459.70 (threading and tapping machines), 8462.29 (bending and forming presses), 8479.89 (special purpose machines). |

| Incoterms offered | EXW Ludhiana, FOB Mundra / Nhava Sheva, CIF Port Klang or CIF Penang |
Spares & after-sales support
Wear parts for this class are grinding wheels, wheel flanges, hydraulic seals and the magnetic chuck controller. The monsoon and constant humidity are the design constraint here, not heat. Tropicalised motor insulation is specified for the Malaysia rotation, and the ASEAN-India FTA can remove duty on qualifying headings. Spare-part orders are quoted against the machine serial number.
